BWS Co-founder - Ben Wilson



Ben is the ultimate self-marketed athlete, making his own films, offering training clinics for advanced riders, acting as an advisor for his sponsors' marketing and product development needs, as well as working on signature products for many of his sponsors. But what makes Ben an inspiration to all kiters is his passion for the sport, his undying desire to find the perfect wave and his ability to bring them all to the public eye.

BWS Designer and co-founder - Dano See



Born and raised in Australia, Dano See has always been connected to ocean life from an early age, particularly surfing and windsurfing. Dano completed his education and set sail to Namotu Island in Fiji to live his dreams. After he learnt to kite with Ben and Scotty on Namotu, he set off in a different direction to Ben. Although Dano was extremely talented on the kite, his vision lay making them rather than becoming a professional rider.

Dano already had experience in similar design from his early windsurf years, so he took that to Neil Pryde and became Pat Goodman’s right hand man for Cabrinha kites. He treated this as an apprenticeship in kite design, production management and R&D. When Dano finished up with Cabrinha kites he took a position at Slingshot Sports to fine tune his skills. This was the final stepping-stone before going out on his own. Today Dano spends most of his time managing and operating the HK & China factories while his leisure time is spent testing and refining his kites at Namotu Island. He never stands still and loves a beer - he's a true Aussie!
