Every generation of White Noise undergoes a small evolution and 2017 is no different. We’ve worked with Darren Handley to further increase this all-rounder’s durability and performance to ensure it continues to excel both with and without a kite.
Extra carbon fibre patches have been added around finboxes tail but we’ve kept the overall build lightweight to ensure upwind efficiency.
The 2017 tail is slightly narrower to allow sharper, tighter turns in the pocket and we’ve also removed a little volume to make this version of the White Noise more agile.
It maintains a single to double concave with a medium to low rocker and more volume than the BW and high wind, making it ideal for smaller waves and lighter winds.
This is our main stay, bread and butter board. It’s for everyday conditions, in small to medium surf. It has the volume to run quickly down the line in mushy surf, onshore conditions, and a low rocker line to plow upwind thru chop. The White Noise has the width and versatility needed to get up and go in slightly under-powered conditions while the tapered tail can dig in and push hard in the pocket. It’s fun for practicing new tacks, jibes and strapless maneuvers. It also pops well off of waves, and it’s shorter length lends itself to punting airs. The White Noise is fun for all levels of riders, accessible enough for newer riders and still tons of fun for the advanced crowd.
You’ll find this board most in Europe, Australia and parts of the USA.
